MARKETING strategies
guerilla marketing: use of novel or unconventional methods in order to boost sales or attract interest in a bradn or business. the methods are often low or no- cost
mass marketing: most marketing is aiming at a mass audience( especially when we consider blockbuster movies) THis involves using teasers, trailers, moving image and print media options.
niche marketing: some PRODUCTS are aimed at a small, specific audience or want to open their product to a wider market.

Camera movements
- static: a motionless shot usually filmed on a tripod - Dolly: any sort of moving a moving platform that the camera is mounted on, camera crews often lay down on tracks which the camera can be moved along. - pan: the camera stays in the same place but it rotates - Tilt: camera tilts up/down when on a trypod - Crane: The camera is mounted on a crane, helping a filmmaker to achive dynamic overhead shots
Shot_TYPES
- shot size
extreme long shot- often used at the beginning of a scene to show where the screen will take place.
Extreme close up- used to show small details, such as a characters eyes
Mid shot- often when filming conversations. it is used in shots, films and televisions.
Close up- usually shows a characters face or different areas trying to show something
Overshot- the camera is positioned directly above the subjects
Full shot- shows a character from head to tow. it is often used as a ' master shot'
Oblique/canted angle- sometimes tilded which is used in many popular horror movies to indicate to the audience that the scene is unstable
undershot- the camera is positioned directly beneath the subject ( worm's eye view)
Eye level shot- a shot at eye level giving a sense of realism because this is how we see the world
High angle shot- above the subject looking down at the angle makes the subject smaller, powerless and more vulnerable
Low angle- the camera is positioned below the eye level, looking up to imply a sense of power and dominance
Bird's eye view- shows a scene from overhead. This camera shot makes the audience feel like watching over everthing
point of view- shows what the camera is looking at
Over the shoulder- the camera shows what the subject is seeing
long shot- it is usually possible to discern individuals but there is also a great deal of background
